Story of Pier 19, Galveston

On an early Sunday evening, enjoying Galveston. The fishing boats, on Pier 19, rolled in with their catch. Many beautiful Red Snappers were caught. The folks took their fish to be cleaned by seasoned men that had worked there for many years. Quickly and precisely, fileting the snappers, as the pelicans, stayed close by for an occasional scrap. A wonderful site to see indeed. I had my camera, took many shots, and used them for reference to paint. I painted two Pier 19 paintings. They are both sold in two Private Collections. Limited edition Giclée prints are available.
